Poulissen, D

Davey Poulissen is a PhD candidate at the Research Centre for Education and the Labour Market (ROA) at Maastricht University. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in International Economics and his master’s degree in International Economics and Business from Radboud University Nijmegen. During his studies, he also participated in the interdisciplinary Radboud Honours Academy.

Before starting his PhD research, Davey worked as a researcher at ROA from 2015 to 2018. His main research interests are related to the position of vulnerable groups on the labour market, the trend towards labour market flexibilisation and labour market inequalities in general. In his PhD research, Davey focusses on the position of  vulnerable groups on the labour market, their (lack of) participation in training and the trajectories that are being followed by different vulnerable groups to reintegrate into the labour market.

Next to his PhD activities, Davey is also working as a researcher on the interdisciplinary 4Limburg project and an NRO-project on lifelong learning.
